	Lord Buddha Educational Academy Ltd., Nepalgunj Medical College (NGMC) was established in 1996 to impart medical education of International Standards. The college is affiliated to Kathmandu University. It is recognized by the Govt. of Nepal, Nepal Medical Council and Sri Lanka Medical Council. The Institute is enlisted in the World Directory of Medical Schools” of WHO. Thus the graduate of the institute can appear in USMLE and PLAB test in USA & UK, respectively. Many of our graduates have passed USMLE & working and studying in USA, Australia and other foreign countries.

• MBBS course is four and half years and one year internship.
• PG Program in Basic & Clinical Sciences available.

ADMISSION & ELEGIBILITY
The college runs two sessions August and February every year. The Minimum age of the admission is 17 years. The candidate must complete 10+2 years of education or A/L with English, Biology, Physics and Chemistry as main subjects and/she should have secured not less than 50% of mark in the subjects mentioned above put together and aggregate of 50% overall.

LOCATION
Nepalgunj Medical College’s basic Medical Science campus is located at Chisapani on the foothills of Mid-western Nepal along the Nepalgunj – Surkhet highway. This place is around 26 Km from Nepalgunj, 32 Km from Indian border town Rupaidiha; 212 Km from Lucknow. The main Teaching Hospital is at Kohalpur, along the East-West highway, 16 Km from Nepalgunj; and it’s other teaching hospital is situated at Nepalgunj itself. Nepalgunj is well connected by road with all the major cities of Nepal and the capital, Kathmandu by air as well. The climate is bit comfortable than New Delhi.

CAMPUS
Nepalgunj Medical College campus has a beautiful landscape surrounded by lush green vegetation and tranquil surrounding, an ideal place for better learning and teaching. It is located in approximately Twenty-Seven hectares of land. It is totally safe and fully residential. The present physical facilities include specious and well ventilated lecture halls, seminar and tutorial rooms; media lab with computer aided learning; audio visual facilities; well-equipped laboratories; dissection hall; museum; library; recreation hall; and many sports facilities.

TEACHING HOSPITAL
The college has it’s own 850 bedded modern state-of-the-art Teaching Hospital at Kohalpur. It has 130-bedded Teaching Hospital at Nepalgunj too. Beside this new 120 bedded Super Specialty Hospital is under constructions at Nepalgunj. The Teaching Hospitals are equipped with modern equipments and facilities such as; CT Scan, Laparoscopic Surgery, Lithotripsy, Indourology and Haemodilaysis.

HOSTELS
There are separate hostels and mess for girls and boys inside the campus. From third year onwards, the students reside inside the Hospital Campus at Kohalpur. Every hostels room has attached bathroom and kitchenette. Adequate sports and recreation facilities are available at both sites.
